Nike Football approached us to help with a unique proposition - how do you maximise the eyeballs on an event held in a secret location?
To celebrate friendlies amongst the Socceroos, the Brazil and Argentinian National Teams in Melbourne, Nike put on a night of football unlike any other - the top rated Futsal teams in Australia competed for ultimate bragging rights, round robin style, in a converted Aircraft Hangar while watched by some legends of the game.
We brought this event to life, with scoreboard and scoring animations, live event footage - and a live stream broadcast direct into Federation Square to ensure even if you didn’t score an invite - Football fans across Melbourne could check out the action.
To help the players share their success with the world, we also shot and edited still photography and highlight video clips of each game, distributing it directly to the players in real time via their mobile phones.
